Fuji?

I love Madeline. Something funny just happened and I realize I am not great at documenting the little things so I wanted to write a quick post about my funny girl.

She just ate some fruit snacks followed by a chocolate chip granola bar. She looked at me and said, "What now?" I asked her if she was still hungry and she said yes so I suggested she have an apple. She said that was fine and told me specifically how she wanted it cut so I said I'd go make it and then she asked me if she had had too many sweet things already and if her apple wouldn't taste sweet.

This is because one day she had had some candy immediately followed by an apple and complained that it didn't taste sweet. I explained to her that when you eat really sweet things that naturally sweet things, like apples, don't taste as sweet...

I told her that her apple would still be good and that I'd go and cut it.

When I brought it to her she took at bite, looked up at me, and asked, "Fuji?"

She doesn't like any other kind.
