Darling I Do

I love to hear Madeline sing. She has the sweetest little voice. Lately we have been watching "Shrek Forever After" because for some reason Uverse let us purchase it one time for like a month's rental. $5 for a month. Thanks Uverse. Anyway- I am used to hearing her sing lullabies, nursery rhymes, Barbie movie songs, princess movie songs, etc...but not contemporary music. The soundtracks to all of the Shrek movies are great. Great great music. There is a song by Landon Pigg on the "Shrek Forever After" soundtrack that plays while Shrek and Fiona are fighting and simultaneously falling in love called "Darling I Do." I heard Madeline sing it oh so quietly the other night while we were watching the movie. Now I'm obsessed with it. He also sings another great song, "Falling in Love in a Coffee Shop" which is probably more well known. I wonder what songs she'll remember from her childhood as she grows up. I am going to start really paying attention to her play list. Some of the songs I listened to while in the car with my Mom and Dad are my very favorite still.
