So tonight I wish that I could have back every moment that I felt overwhelmed, exasperated, frustrated, or spent wishing that I had time to "just be me- myself, alone, with my own brain."
If I had all of those minutes back I would have more time with you before you begin this adventure tomorrow. Because tonight I realize that I became me when I had you. I don't want to be anyone else or spend time doing anything else but being your Mommy. I am so so proud of you Madeline. You shine.
