My Crazy Tucker was NOT crazy about getting messy for his cake pictures. I tried to get him to eat a bite and he SCREAMED and ended up with one leg in the cake and crying for me to rescue him. I did and I was covered in cake too. After I got him calmed down he posed for some sweet shots with the demolished cake.
Here please note the death grip I have on Madeline. These were taken when Tucker was 7 months old. I didn't know it yet but I was pregnant. That would account for the mood swings that day! I cried and cried overwhelmed at trying to get us all dressed and ready to smile and hit my head on our brick entry arch while trying to make everything look "just so." I was bleeding and have a ton of make-up on my head trying to cover my wound!
I love looking back at these pictures. Tucker was still new-ish and Madeline was still sorting out what being a big sister would mean. We've come a long way.
