A big day for my Muffin Head

Madeline started back to "school" on Tuesday. She went right in, sat down at her seat and colored. No tears this year. She hugged me and kissed her little brother and I didn't shed tears this year either. She needs to be back in school. She LOVES her school. They have great activities, the best teachers, and best of all, they know her and love her. Her teacher this year is Ms. Stacy. Madeline kept calling her Ms. Daisy so on the first day on the way to school I told her I thought she should ask Ms. Daisy/Stacy what her name was. At the end of the day, I loaded Madeline in the car and she said, "Her name is Mizz Staaacccccceeeeeyyy. Not Ms. Daisy." Every time she says it now she draws it out really long an if you say her name short and sweet she corrects you until you say it the long way. I am sure this is the way Ms. Stacy said her name to Madeline and she took the pronunciation quite literally. Cute. Today she came home and said that "The Hunter boy with the black hair and green shirt said he could use fire with his super powers and could hurt me." But after a little talk with her Gigi she decided that "that Hunter boy" was just pretending.

She also started DANCE CLASS on Tuesday! Can't even begin to describe how sweet this was. Her teacher let us stay and watch this time and at one point Madeline turned around to me and whispered, "I love this dance class!" They started with 20 minutes of tap, 20 minutes of ballet and 20 minutes of gymnastics. Madeline said her favorite part was the hula hoops. I think they jumped through them. All the moms got kicked out during gymnastics because there wasn't enough room for us. And the best part- thanks to Tyler and his need for tea I got to be the Mom carting my precious little ballerina through the grocery store. I always wanted to be that Mom. It was so fun. Madeline rode in the grocery cart car and I ran her through the whole store. She giggled and beep beeped all the way and when we walked out she proudly told a stranger that she was a ballerina. I can't wait till she gets her official tutu and costumes!!! I took dance when I was little and for some reason every time Mom or Mamma Cathy would get me in my leotard I would get to Ms. Bitty's and wet myself. So far so good with Muffin. I told her about me pee peeing in my leotard and she thought that was funny.

In other news...Tucker is crawling like a champ. Crawled from his room to Madeline's the other day and was so proud of himself. AND tonight he said, "Mamamaaa!!!" Ha. Madeline said Dada first. Tucker is Mamamamaaa's boy (Madeline explained to me today that she knew that Daddy was my Prince but she wanted him to Marry HER someday. I told her that was fine that Daddy could marry her and she said- not now, I'm 3).
