Mmmmmm

Held my "new" baby (can't just call him my "baby" that's still Madeline's title) for about 2 hours tonight. Rocking him, admiring him, holding him, and watching a movie. My baby is at her Mimi and Papa's so the boy and I had some time to ourselves.



I remember that so well with Madeline. I held her forever, hours on end. Everyone always commented on what a perfectly shaped head she had- it was because she never laid on it! With your second child you don't have that luxury. Earlier today I had just picked up Tucker from a nap. He was groggy and still waking up when Madeline announced that she had to "go pee pee." With a toddler you drop everything when you hear those words. That's what I had to do. I just laid Tucker down and ran with Madeline. He wasn't happy about it. Thank goodness he won't remember.



So, thanks Mimi and Papa for giving me a little time to spoil my baby boy. I know you are doing a great job spoiling my girl!
