I'll admit it. I've been obsessed with all things Madeline since she started kindergarten. Like they say- absence makes the heart grow fonder. But I have to say that Tucker and I have been having a pretty good time together. Everybody that knows him knows he is a joy. And a clown. So I wanted to share some of his latest antics.

Last week he had to go with me to show a house. The couple has a precious and pretty little girl and she was with them. Tucker took to her immediately. He kept jabbering to her and then very clearly cut his eyes at her sideways, patted his pocket, and said, "Maybe I got some money in my pocket." We all died laughing. Without missing a beat he said, "Maybe I got some keys too." Still straight faced with all of us about to pee ourselves. Their little girl is older, like 10 or so. Maybe he was trying to impress her? I asked him if he had a car and he said that he did. A pink car. Ever since he has repeated it in the funniest circumstances. He loves to talk about the money in his pocket even when he's wearing a pull-up (with no pockets). Oh, and he has never carried money in his pocket. Ever. Hilarious.
Tyler said he wished he had thought of that line in college.

He's a great kid. Pretty reasonable. Mostly sweet. He hangs tight with us and rarely gets cross. This picture was after a long day and an evening birthday party followed by an 8:30 dinner. He was great the whole time.

Sometimes Tyler and I worry about him, umm, intellectually. :-) But today he did something I think is very smart. He wanted to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and during the middle of it he ran to his room and started searching through his books. He found a book that I didn't pay attention to until he came into the living room and held it up to the t.v. He said to Mickey, "You wanna see your pit-ture?" He had a Mickey Mouse book. Pretty cute. And we don't really worry about him...besides...he seems to have athletic inclinations that may be scholarship worthy. *wink*
