Good Days

On hot summer days when there is not much to do Madeline and I like to make cupcakes. We make the mix, bake them and decorate. Tucker took a really long nap on this day so we had a lot of time together. And then Tucker got to enjoy our creation!

He looks like Bluto from Popeye!

He loved squishing the icing between his fingers. Aunt Lindsey gave this cool Brooklyn onesie to Madeline when she was a baby!

My cheeseball cowboy. Tucker loves horses. Just like his Daddy, Papa, and cousin Alyssa. He was saying "yee haw!"

He loved giving "Sissy" a ride on his horse- or as he says- "huss!" It is so sweet to hear him talk to his sister too. He loves her so much and is always ready to laugh at her. She loves to entertain him and I think it must be so good for her little heart to always have someone around to laugh at her when she is acting goofy...even after Mommy and Daddy have stopped laughing Tucker is! When she is gone he walks around the house looking for her saying "Ssssissy?!"

Madeline has been pulling out her babies again. I am so happy. We transitioned way too fast from baby dolls to barbies. I think she quit playing with baby dolls after Tucker came because she was probably getting enough of the real thing! The other night she cried to her Daddy and I because she doesn't want Tucker to grow up. She was sobbing about us not having a baby in our family anymore. I tried to convince Tyler that that meant we needed to have another...so far he is not convinced!

Our happy family. Tucker loves to sit with Sissy and watch cartoons.
