Today your Daddy had a wreck coming home from work. He was and is fine but it scared me. I didn't know how much it scared me until your Grampsy came to watch you both and I started out the door to go get Daddy. Your Daddy called me right at that moment to tell me that he was going to be able to drive his truck home and again, that he was okay. Grampsy hugged me for a minute and let me cry.
You guys knew I was a little tense (I had just told you both loudly for the fourth time to be quiet and stay out of the kitchen) but you both had no idea Daddy had been in an accident.
He came home and hugged me for a long time and then after dinner, while you were both snuggled up together watching Alice in Wonderland, Daddy fell asleep in my lap. Never doubt for a second how much I love your Daddy. He's a wonderful wonderful man. He has become the most wonderful father and husband and I tell him nearly every night that I'm not sure how I got him but that I sure am thankful that I did. He always just says, "Me too..." And I believe him.
