He is wonderful

He is home. He is sleeping (in my bed on his back like an angel). He is healthy and he is wonderful. I feel so at ease (with the exception of desperately wanting to go to Mr. Pancho and Tyler saying it is not time yet) and so confident this time as a mother. I am so blessed. Everything has gone so well.

We got to the hospital at 7 am on Monday morning and Dr. Simmons (my Dr.'s father in law) broke my water and prayed with us at 9 am. I labored for an hour without the epidural and my contractions were hard and fast! I never experienced pain like that with Madeline! At 10 I asked for the epidural and by 10:45 I was complete and ready to push. Dr. Singleton hurried over to the hospital and Tucker came at 11:03 am and weighed 7lbs. and 5oz. He was perfect. We were so overjoyed. I couldn't believe how little he was- but he is making up for it now! I think he will weigh 10 lbs. by next week!

This week has been amazing. Madeline loves him and reads to him and wants to help us with EVERYTHING. She has been a little needy but I am happy to oblige when she asks me to hold her. The weight of her compared to Tucker makes me nostalgic...I can't believe how fast she has grown up into this wonderful little girl and now- big sister.

We have had lots of visitors and lots of food and flowers. We appreciate all of your love and prayers so much! I will write more later but for now I am going to post some pictures that kind of sum it all up...
